Abstract

Three-dimensional data model is a key of the 3D GIS application (Geographic Information System). The paper proposes adding many complex links in data model to increase visualization for Surface (2.5D), Body (3D) objects. The paper also proposes removing semantic objects to become the pure spatial model. The new model represents 2.5D, 3D objects for levels of detail. User defines the number of levels. The diversity of the visualizing will respond the requirements of different applications. The new model is tested by the experiments and named ELUDM.
