Abstract

Web Service Resource Framework (WSRF) is a recent effort of the grid community to facilitate modeling of the stateful services. Semantic Web Services initiative is proposing a standard called OWL-S to help the automated discovery, composition and invocation of the services. This article describes a broker based architecture, which tries to combine WSRF and OWL-S in a way to enable automated discovery and invocation of the stateful services. Analysis of the requirements are provided and an application scenario is described, which has been used to evaluate the architecture.
