This paper examines whether test problems that occur speci- fically during unit testing of object-oriented programs can be solved using the aspect-oriented programming paradigm. It presents the various problems in unit testing, shows conventional solutions and describes aspect-oriented solutions to the problems. The aspect-oriented solutions are supported by the unit test framework FlexTest of which the paper gives an overview.
