This paper describes the retrieval methods of TRIX system based on structural indices utilizing the natural tree structure of XML. We show how these indices can be employed in the processing of CO as well as CAS queries, which makes it easy for variations of CAS queries to be processed. Results at INEX 2005 are discussed including the following tasks: CO.Focussed, CO.FetchBrowse, CO.Thorough and all of the CAS tasks. While creating result lists, two different overlapping models have been applied according to task. The weights of the ancestors of an element have been taken into account in re-weighting in order to get more evidence about relevance.
