Abstract

With user movement characteristics and QoS (Quality of Service) requirements being considered, a fan-shaped flexible resource reservation mechanism is presented, based on motion prediction and QoS negotiation. It also considers solutions to the frequent handover problem. Simulation results have shown that QoS guarantees can be provided to certain degree.
