Abstract

Efficient retrieval of software components is an essential aspect of component-based software development. Enhancing the retrieval of such components has been the focus of significant prior research. We propose a new component retrieval method using a synaptic connectivity matrix. This new method supports queries with logical operators, which are not supported by existing facet retrieval methods. We show that the search complexity is considerably reduced with our proposed method.
