In a mobile ad hoc network which has considerable changes of the network topology, a routing protocol is needed that adapts itself to various circumstances for stable data transmission. In this paper, we propose a routing algorithm based on link reliability to provide the reliable end-to-end data transmission. Firstly, we derive a link reliability estimation model by applying a Bayesian inference method. Secondly, we propose an enhanced OLSR protocol based on the link reliability estimation model. We analyze the performance of our algorithm and compare the results with those of the standard OLSR protocol by using the NS-2 simulator.
