Abstract

Current intrusion detection technology is limited in providing protection against the intrusions that may violate the security of grids. We present the mechanisms necessary to integrate a grid-based intrusion detection system with other systems so as to provide protection against all the intrusions a grid may be subjected to. A case study that makes use of simulations and a proof-of-concept implementation is presented as an early evaluation.
