Abstract

In this study, an authenticated encryption scheme with public verifiability and message linkages is proposed. The new scheme requires smaller bandwidth and computational time as compared to previously proposed authenticated encryption schemes with message linkages. Furthermore, if the signer repudiates the signature, the recipient can prove the dishonesty of the signer to any verifier without disclosing the message by converting this signature into an ordinary one single.
