Abstract

Demand of space missile simulation on distributed system is increasing to provide cost-effective, execution-effective, and reliable simulation of mission-effective missile systems. This paper presents modeling and simulation of space missile systems on distributed system and discusses kinetics of a missile on the earth and movement of attack/interceptor missiles. This paper focuses high performance simulation for space missile simulation with distributed system construction and execution concepts and provides simulation effectiveness with reasonable computation and communication resources. This paper analyzes simulation performance and scalability of space missile simulations in terms of simulation cost and sensitivity. Analytical and empirical results prove feasibility of space missile simulations on distributed system through reduction of network bandwidth requirement and transmission data bits within tolerable error.
