Abstract

In this paper, we address the problem of disambiguating a sequence of semantically overloaded icons We formulate the problem as a constraint satisfaction problem and discuss the knowledge representation required to facilitate checking of constraints Our algorithm helps in reducing the size of vocabulary and hence makes these interfaces more usable for the disabled population.
