Abstract

In this note, we point out by a counterexample that the main results in a recent paper by Lee and Lai [W.-C. Lee, P.-J. Lai, Scheduling problems with general effects of deterioration and learning, Inform. Sci. 181 (2011) 1164-1170] are incorrect, and provide a sufficient condition for them being true.
