Abstract

The Bologna process brought a series of changes in the learning context. Questionable in some aspects, Bologna enhanced the value of practical skills acquisition and of the "how to do", two of the goals always established by the Engineering Schools of the Portuguese Polytechnic Institutes. The project-based learning methodology proved to be a successful approach. In this context, various student teams of ISEC - Engineering Institute of Coimbra - developed some educational software projects in the Knowledge Management field. This paper describes this experience and the obtained results.
