In light of the increased capacity and lower prices of computer hard drives, a new universe to be explored emerges, the microcosm of personal files. Although search and information retrieval techniques are already widely used in the Internet, its application in personal computers is still incipient. This paper describes a new tool for document clustering in the desktop, whose effectiveness in obtaining groups with similar documents is evidenced by the experimental results.
