Abstract

For software developers, especially those in industry, effective software use is a highly sought after in order to save both time and money in the development process. In order to properly reuse software, the quality of code must be examined to determine its candidacy for reuse. While tools to aid in software reuse are available, many do not fit the specific needs of companies. In this paper, we examine the implementation FICUSOK, a custom tool designed to analyze both quality and reusability of software code sections, in an industry environment.
