Consistency is always sacrificed to achieve the key features of a cloud platform: scalability, availability and reliability. These key features require different forms of consistent states to be introduced. Different techniques are also introduced to maintain consistency. Our goal is to compare the performance and throughput of different data consistency techniques. An experimental set up is planned for the comparison among these consistency techniques.
