Abstract

Quantum information splitting (QIS) is such a procedure where a sender can distribute a quantum information (state) to several recipients such that all of them can cooperate to recover the quantum state, but any other subset can not. In this paper, we present a uniform method to design QIS schemes using GHZ-type and W-type states. We also give a simple criteria on W states for QIS.
