Abstract

We propose a novel rate-one (i.e., one symbol per transmission), space-frequency block code (SFBC) for an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system with transmit (M), and receive (N) antennas that achieves the maximum diversity attainable over frequency-selective channels.
