Abstract

The current implementation of the ASF+SDF Meta-Environment has been in existence for more than five years and is becoming obsolete for a variety of reasons, ranging from maintenance problems to problems of scale. A new and improved implementation is in an advanced stage of development. The design choices involved and the progress made to date are summarized. This is a progress report on ongoing work by many people.
