Abstract

This paper explains some algorithms concerning packet routing using ant colony models. In-car entertainment systems based on wireless sensors with routing protocols might be implemented to improve user experience. Ant Colony algorithms are really useful in such cases, therefore they can be embedded into the wireless sensors to perform such routing tasks. A local routing algorithm is proposed. This paper also describes the basic tools to work with wireless sensors: TinyOS has a component-based architecture which enables rapid innovation and implementation while minimizing code size as required by the severe memory constraints inherent in sensor networks: network protocols, distributed services, sensor drivers, and data acquisition tools.
