Abstract

In the generalized Nyquist stability criterion for linear, time-invariant, multivariable, feedback systems, stability is determined from the characteristic gain loci. This paper examines the sensitivity of the latter, and introduces sets of indices, called sensitivity indices, which characterize the sensitivity of the loci to small system perturbations.
