Task-level control using a radial basis function network approximation of the feedforward can be learned on-line as a flexible spacecraft performs an arbitrary sequence of maneuvers, provided that an input-output Jacobian is approximated off-line - with another radial basis function network. The theoretical analysis is complemented by a simulation study.
