Abstract

In the biomedical domain, large experimental techniques such as DNA microarrays provide the scientist a huge textual data to search for the interactions between the components of biological systems (DNA, RNA, etc.), and how these interactions give rise to the function and behavior of that system. Recent researches focus on complex type of data which involves the change of the biological state, properties or a location of a biological entity, namely the biological event. In this paper, we develop a framework for biological event extraction from text.
