The goal of the First International Workshop on Visual Interfaces for Ground Truth Collection in Computer Vision Applications is to bring together practitioners and researchers in computer vision and in HCI to share ideas and experiences in designing and implementing visual interfaces for ground truth data generation. It specifically presents and reports on the construction and analysis of user-oriented tools and interfaces to support automatic or semi-automatic ground truth annotation and labeling in many applications such as object detection, object recognition, scene segmentation and face recognition both in still images and in videos.
