Abstract

A scenario of table of options available to the Cell Supervisor is proposed. Based on the relational databases and an industrial survey conducted earlier by the research, a model of the decision support for an FMS Cell Supervisor is developed. Utilizing the IDEF0 technique, functions of the Cell Supervisor are modelled, and using E-R and IDEF1X modelling technique relationships between the Entities at the cell level is modelled.
