Abstract

Networks can be used to model many decision problems. However, many of these problems are difficult to solve in this manner due to the uncertainty involved. Therefore, a general model for networks is needed that can handle the uncertainty while still maintaining the basic properties of the network. Such a model is presented and its properties investigated. The particular model studied has many applications such as building evacuation, flexible manufacturing, and transportation.
