We present that the example solved for Theorems 1-4 proposed by Toksari et al. [Toksari, M.D., Oron, D. and Guner, E. (2009)] in [Wang X.-Y., Wang L.-Y., Wang J.-B. (in press) Note on ''Single machine scheduling problems under the effects of nonlinear deterioration and time-dependent learning'' [Math. Comput. Modelling 50 (2009) 401-406], Mathematical and Computer Modelling] is incorrect. They obtained wrong solution to example because they wrongly analyzed the deterioration rate. We show that the correct solution for the given counterexample. The solution proves the Theorems 1-4 proposed by Toksari et al. [Toksari, M.D., Oron, D. and Guner, E. (2009)] are correct.
