Abstract

In this paper, we derive some sufficient conditions for local and global asymptotic stability of both continuous-time and discrete-time nonlinear cascade interconnected systems. We prove our results using converse Lyapunov stability theorems and LaSalle's invariance principle for continuous-time and discrete-time nonlinear systems.
