Abstract

In business, the use of visual interactive simulation (VIS) can lead to significant benefits: improved efficiency, reduced costs and increased profitability. However, these benefits are rarely attained since only a few managers are aware of the technology. This paper discusses simulation with reference to VIS, its benefits and the range of applications for which it can be used. The paper concludes with a discussion on the VIS software available.
