Abstract

This article is an explorative research study, where the research question was: To which extent can external information, internal competence, and the use of information technology (IT) be used to explain variations in perceived innovation sucess? The context we chose was Norwegian firms operating in Russia. Our findings corroborate the emphasis on internal competence and innovation. Further, we found that the use of information technology is important for perceived innovation success.
