Abstract

A novel scheme of optical-code label (OC-label) switching based on a special optical packet generation where the payload and the OC-label are located in different spectrum section is proposed. The payload and the OC-label are separated using a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) without any strict timing. The results of the simulation verified the feasibility of the scheme.
