Abstract

As seen in Part 1 of this article, security remains one of the fundamental barriers to adoption of Grid computing in a wider commercial context. Having discussed issues in managing security in collaborative applications deployed over Grid computing infrastructure in the first part of the article (see Network Security April 2006), Part 2 describes the application of security in the construction industry, and the associated security management service architecture.
