Much attention has been given to the subject of mobile malware in recent years. Many hours of analysis have gone in to researching known mobile trojan horse applications and viruses. The picture that has developed is that proof of concept mobile malware has proven its dire potential, and that environmental changes, such as an increased mobile workforce and a larger smartphone user base, may be all that are required to convert the potential of mobile phone malware to widespread use.
