Abstract

the Problem Frames (PF) approach is a prospective tool for classifying, analyzing and structuring software development problems. However, it at current stage lacks a practical way to capture NFRs. This paper aims to extend the PF Approach for helping system analysts to capture non-functional requirements within the PF approach systematically. A new problem model and a model-guided process have been presented. NFRs specifications can be obtained according to that process. A case study shows the feasibility of this approach.
