Abstract

Modeling and simulation projects which integrate heterogeneous elements are improved by elements reuse approaches. However, the search of elements according to the desirable features of design is a hard task and it depends on designer experience. Generally, the best elements are not found. This work presents a distributed repository manager of elements that offers location transparency of elements and automatic collaboration among distributed repositories to broadcast element search actions. This work also presents the specification of the automatic generator of element configuration files according to the DCB architecture.
