Abstract

In the recent years, an increasing interest has been emerging in healthcare modeling and simulation. While the potential of modeling and simulation has benefited many traditional domains, it has yet to show and investigate its applicability and deliverables in the healthcare domain. In this paper, we briefly discuss potentials and challenges that the healthcare domain presents to the application of modeling and simulation (M&S).
