Abstract

In this paper we propose a Semantic Engine for Cloud applications development: a semantically enabled Search Engine that can be used by cloud applications developers as development support. The Semantic Engine will be a component of the EU project mOSAIC's architecture. The Semantic Engine supports the application developer with semantic discovery of mosaic Cloud API functionalities and Components at development time and resources at deployment time. It manages semantic descriptions of the resources and available mosaic elements. It will be the system supporting the user in selecting APIs components and functionalities needed for building the application, and the list of needed resources to be acquired from the Cloud providers.
