Abstract

Highlights: @? We study the research efforts of Clinical Decision Support for the last twenty years. @? We examine why there are so many definitions and architectures in CDS literature. @? We find that the CDS architectures are coalescing toward an integrated architecture. @? We find that this finding is supported by current CDS research, EHR vendors and several national projects.
