Abstract

The paper presents a project for continuous airport spatial modeling that is driven by the requirements of the international aviation organizations for perspective automatization of the airport planning. A sequence of procedures has been created to build the airport models in a geographic information system (GIS) at higher accuracy. Additionally, an octree model has been defined for some applications that need scalable spatial presentation.
