This paper provides motivation towards the use of domain specific repositories and DSSA's. It shows many of the positive side-effects this usage brings about. An extension to the faceted approach to components classification [Prieto-Diaz and Freeman 1987] is introduced. Our extension suggests a natural way of further benefiting from the use of domain specific repositories.
