Abstract

Context-aware systems aim to provide users with proactive services based on the users'context, which is collected in a quick and exact manner. To build a context-aware service in a real setting, a model of context is needed which is generic enough to allow for new service plugins. Since the contextaware system is used for multi-services in a specific domain, it is desirable that it utilizes more generic context models than previously used domain dependent context models. Hence, the purpose of this study is to propose a methodology for assessing the quality of context models to select a model type that is appropriate for the communication of the agents that reside in the context-aware systems.
