Abstract

MANY different techniques have been discussed in the literature to estimate the parameters of a chirp signal categorized as Transform, FilterBank, statistical etc. Majority of these methods have a trade-off between the accuracy and computational complexity. Most of these techniques assume a reference model. The Technique here will be discussed is Filter Design Approach, in which we aim to Design a suitable Algorithm for Chirp Parameter Estimation (Time vs. Frequency curve).The algorithm processes various types of Chirps effectively. Currently the algorithm is developed in MATLAB .Its analogous representation in LABVIEW is done. The main advantage of the algorithm is it does not assume any standard model for determining time versus frequency relationship
