We suppose a methodology and a middleware to build information systems that support mobile business processes. Our approach allows applications to make use of a self-mobilizing code paradigm, i.e. the ability of components to be distributed to devices depending on internal and external changes. The methodology is aimed at deriving architectural decisions from the business processes to be supported. We assess processes and their implications for mobility concerns and make use of architecture simulation to check feasibility and quality of service of such applications at design time and runtime.
