Abstract

Moodle is a virtual learning environment that keeps track of the activities of students in the learning environment. The amount of data in Moodle is vast and it contains, for example, the whole learning material, information on completed assignments, and records of when a student accesses the learning material. By clustering the students based on the material we can learn to understand the different learning strategies of students in the virtual Moodle environment.
