The aim of this study is to mapping the intellectual structure of the field of international management science during the period of 1997-2006. Text mining and co-word analysis was employed to reveal patterns and trends in the international management science field by measuring the association strengths of terms representative of relevant publications. Data were collected from selected 52 kinds of international journal papers collected from Social Science Citation Index (SSCI). In addition to the keywords added by SSCI databases. Observe the co-word try to distinguish its dynamic development and evolution, and with the help of discipline knowledge to explain these information, mine the knowledge mode of its research field. The results show that the international management science field has some established research themes and it also changes rapidly to embrace new themes.
