Internet video requires large-scale content-centric multicast and is highly latency-sensitive. The recently proposed Named Data Network (a.k.a., NDN) is promising in supporting content-centric multicast applications, but is lack of deadline-aware processing in which packets are processed differently according to its processing deadline. In this paper, we extend NDN data plane to support deadline-aware packet processing. In particular, we propose to add a new attribute called "deadline" in the NDN data name, give concrete forwarding strategies that differentiate packets by their deadline attribute, and show its potentials in reducing latency.
