Abstract

Online student engagement is the premise of online learning. This paper firstly stated the characteristic of online engagement and discussion's key role in enhancing student engagement, and then took modern educational technology's online theory class as example, designed and implemented the online discussion teaching method, and analyzed the learning effect. The result shows that through online discussion, student engagement, especially behavior and emotional engagement were greatly improved.
