Abstract

A modified BA modeling algorithm with "randomly chosen edges" and "triad formation step" is proposed in this paper. The basic characteristics and robustness against attack of the modified BA model and the standard BA model are analyzed by both analytically and numerical simulations, which shows our model possesses the same characteristics as the standard BA model, but with the high clustering coefficient and better robustness at the same time.
