Abstract

In this paper, a new algorithm is proposed which is inspired by human intelligence named YOYO Blind Man Algorithms (YOYO-BMA). The main idea of YOYO-BMA is the combination of human intelligence with features of yoyo. In the proposed algorithm, it is supposed that there are some men in a dark room, which are named blind men. They look for the optimum. Each man has at least a yoyo to use as assistant. Men search problem space using their yoyos. This new algorithm is compared with 5 other different algorithms and the results show the better performance of YOYO-BMA compared with the other ones.
