Abstract

Mobile devices have become prevalent in all cultures. Individuals who once relied on PC's and laptops, now prefer the convenience of a lightweight cell phone or tablet. It is vital that computer science departments evolve to meet the needs of a changing society. This paper describes one way to address this challenge through the creation of a university iPhone app that benefits students and the university community at large. All aspects of the project are addressed, including funding, resources, challenges, and project submission.
